Charis Family International Church has staged a friendly evangelism session within the Mokola community, where its headquarters is situated in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
As the church members moved out altogether for the community morning church session on Sunday, June 3, 2022, it was a spiritual exercise, in a convivial atmosphere, as the Charis musical band supplied sonorous gospel music with percussion, opening the outreach with praise and worship session that livened up the Mokola community.
The motive, according to the leadership of the church was to take the “Good News” to the people as divinely instructed with scriptural reference in the Book of Mathew 16:15 (NLT), stating: “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
The drive also came as the formal corporate launch of the 30-day soul-winning challenge which began July 1, 2022, for all members of the Chairs network of churches.
Commenting on the outreach, the Senior Pastor of Charis Family International Church, Pastor Tunde Jaiyebo, said: “We went to some streets of Mokola, the community where our headquarters church is situated, to preach the gospel to the people living within the community.
While thanking Mokola residents for their cooperation, the gospeller said: “We are glad for the great reception and the presence of God’s words in our midst, adding: “We praised God, we danced and interacted with the people.
Extending further his hands of fellowship, Pastor Jaiyebo said: “If you live around Mokola or not too far from us and would love to worship with us, our doors are open and we would be glad to welcome you. Jesus loves you so much.”
